I was actually quite glad that I could watch the Republic of Ireland's game on tape delay this morning and made the most of the sleep I got!

It was an enjoyable game and I was surprised that Spain scraped through in the end. They looked pretty shaken up though in extra time and penalties so I hope that takes a toll on them in the quarter finals smile I think England would give them nightmares if they meet before the final.

I caught Sweden vs. Senegal last night and that was most entertaining as well. Sweden looked quite poor the longer the game went on and it was a relief really when the Senagalese scored the winner.

Who is all watching the USA vs. Mexico game tonight? I was going to turn in early as I am pretty shattered after Friday night/Saturday morning's session but it is just too tempting to miss this match up. Univision will probably be quite entertaining but I will be watching it on ESPN as I'd rather USA win this one.

Great world cup so far - hope there is more drama to come and England continue their march towards June 30th smile

I will be watching the US -Mexico game ,and hope to catch the Brazil game later in the morning .

So, it's England v Brazil in the quarters - could they well be the bets two teams left in the tournament. Shame to meet so early, but as Sven Goran Eriksson said - if you're going to win the cup you've got to beat all the teams, so why not start with Brazil in the quarters. Been a great first two weeks for both Englan and the USA.
