aww pickles. I used to get a hot lime pickle from our local healthfood shop that was simply stunning. had the home address of Mrs somebody-or-other on the jar, who used to make it. in india.
here in the u.s. its mostly pataks or make it yourself. and curry is usually green or red paste. heh heh.
