Dear Immigration experts among you!

I have sent off for the UK Police Certificate which covers addresses for 10 years. For 2 of those years I lived in the USA, do I need Certificates to cover that period too and has anyone had any experience getting a Police Certificate from a US Police Department ?

( I do remember they were very nice to me when I went for my fingerprints, which of course were duly rejected.....!) but just wondered if anyone knew..........

Hi Sheril

The US Police certificate can only be obtained by the US Embassy officials..makes life easier for you !! They will obtain this info for you once your I-130 has been approved by the INS in London & your application has been passed onto the US Embassy visa unit for further processing.Hope this helps.
