We have to go to the Newark office tomorrow to have our passports stamped as we sit in wait of our greencards.

We went last year for our advance parole for permission to return to England for vacation. Which took all day. I am just wondering if anyone knows if it takes as long to have your passport stamped. The prospect of having a long wait with a baby, toddler and 1st grader is non to appealing.

Cheers Zed.
My friend had to go there for the same reason that you did. She arrived at 7.30am and even then there was a long queue! She didn't get away until lunchtime. She was the only non-Hispanic and thought she was in South America as no-one was talking in English!

eek
Zed, do you have to take the children?
Well I'm not sure if I have to go now. I may try and put it off until next week. My sons greencard arrived in the post this afternoon. I am hoping mine will arrive tomorrow. If not of to the office we go.

I know what you mean about hispanic though. Its even worse for me since I kind of look hispanic no one talks to me in English first off. smile

Now that son has his I am hoping if I need to go all I'll need to take will be child no 3.
