Me I'm planting V early in the morning all leafy greens, Bio dynamic gardening, then I'm opening a bottle of prosecco, getting out the strawberries and reading When you're engulfed in Flames by dear old Sedaris. An almost British Amurican writer.
Or maybe a book by Brad Thor, his name alone promises a fun ride.

I'm celebrating my independence from the crown of england by drinking belgian beer and chasing pesky rabbits out of the garden

I'm cleaning my house! It's damp and dull here. The two youngest are living it up on Winnepesaukee for the long weekend, so that leaves the teen-queen on the computer, and the parents working - as usual!

We did a casual BBQ at the pool, two fireworks parties (one small one big ) and loved it. Before that we did laundry and gardenng.

Nothing special .

stayed in all day ,looked at a movie. watched the city fireworks display in the evening from the comfort of the hot tub .. finished bottle of wine .

We went to Tanglewood in MA with British friends. Went hiking then sat out and picnicked as James Taylor, John Travolta (!) and Carol King sang. The evening ended with fireworks. It was a great day.

'Twas just another day for us, until all the locals started letting off their fireworks.. then we had to settle down our two very frightened rescued dogs. After an hour or two it was back to reading our books, our usual nightime routine.
