I may be a bit slow on the uptake I am just wondering why post a thread about the goings on of a small north western town. Huyton maybe the dog's bollox for all I know and a hub of cosmopolitan intrigue. I am just wondering why post about that town.

I do not mean to offend any residents of Huyton in any way I am just not sure that plugging the virtues of an innocuous town on this board to get it attention is the way to go.

It would be like meself posting a link to Gravesham Borough Council and telling people "You have to check this out, I understand they're going to clean the pigeon crap off the statue of Pocahontas this month".

Of course I could be wrong and maybe this is the place to publicise the goings on of every hamlet and village up hill and down dale...maybe board members are crying out for this sort of thing and I have misread the mood of the country !

Since this thread about a small town in rural england has drawn more attention than any othan thread posted recently ,i have a idea for a new game .

the town it lands on ( bumfuck usa ) is the town we will post on and if nearby visit .:lol:

At least Knowsley has a Safari Park to brag about.
