Anybody used this as opposed to carpet or some laminate? We really need a new flooring in the downstairs, what a Brit would call the ground floor, but we don't want to go carpet, then again, polished hardwood would really screw with 17 year old kitty, who wakes us as 6.30am . and is now vocal about her needs.
So we need a surface that is easily kept clean, doesn't incur slipage and looks OK.!
I'm told cork retains heat and is a warm covering, and NO, N. Cali is not warm all the time, so heat retention is a big factor.

Anyone used cork flooring and know anything??
Just wondering if cork would screw with kitty too? Is she declawed? Our cat likes to get in the corners of the carpet and put them up, or beneath the door if the door is closed.

We have just got enginered hardwood floors installed and the cat is fine with them at first there was a skidding now as sure footed ans before ....

From my experience they ain't that much to look at, but they are hard wearing and practicable. Good Luck with them, I think for your needs they'll be okay.
