You have the opportunity today to watch TV. You grab the remote control and turn it on.

How do you find watching TV? Is it a quality time or just a waste of your time?
For me it just feeds my need for English nostalgia. I love watching As Time Goes By and Kingdom...couldn't really give a toss about anything else. Keep thinking i would watch BBC America more...but it's complete cack.
Quite like it since I have DVR - I can sit down any time and watch something I really want to watch - usually Sky Sports News, some motor program or one of my favourite shows from The History Channel.

They just turned OnDemand on in my area too and there's a boatload of HD movies that you can just watch any time for free - had fun watching "The Karate Kid" last week on a whim.
You got that right. From all of the good shows that the BBC has from both past and present, how do they manager to dig up such crap?

I have BBC Canada and we get some good programmes but in general its those fix or sell your house ones.

I have a PVR and watch Sky Sports, Setanta for the football and we now have Cricket Plus which shows those IPL twenty20 games. Apart from that its BBC World I get most of my good viewing from the internet. Wink
