I'm into County Music, suspense books and romantic comedies.

How about you? Smile
Not a avid reader.
but i enjoy movies , horror, comedy ,dark comedy ,old classics , film noir , erotic ,independent and european offerings and the occasional musical .

rock jazz and 60/70 pop is where my heart is but some good old shit kicking music goes down well according to my mood , as does classical .

My wife is a avid reader /collector having a room full of stephen king ,dean koonz ,james patterson ,anne rice and a few other not so well known authers .

our movie preferances are much the same .
I love music... even new stuff that my kids are into.

Was really into gardening when I used it to pass-time when the kids were little. I made a couple too many flower beds that I regret a bit when I don't have the time these days. One year I planted about a dozen seeds trays. Where did those days go? Don't be fooled into thinking you'll have more time one day.
Music. I've been playing for years and songwriting seriously since about 2000. A vinyl junkie too - check out my stuff at RYM. Movies - big movie nut, mostly cult & non-mainstream flicks tho- anything like Jodorowsky, Tarkovsky, Eurowesterns or British Independent horror movies from late 60's early 70's. but pretty much anything goes..
I don't read as much these days as I used to, and its mostly non-fiction these days, but I still get through 3 or 4 a month.
Cooking - both myself and Mrs Servalan cook a lot, big fan of indian food, was brought up on it so hard not to like it really..
oops.. time to go to workRolling Eyes
I read constantly... anything and everything and usually have at least a half a dozen books on the go at a time. Currently, the open books I have range from the "Popol Vuh" which is the Mayan creation story, various astrology and astronomy books, a couple of books on the occult, and a few more non-fiction tomes, one on greek mythology and one of old photographs of Suffolk which my Mum sent for my birthday..

I recently read the trilogy "His Dark Materials" as I wanted to "read the book" before the viewing the Golden Compass movie.
The book is definately better than the movie in my opinion. Maybe if they make the other two books into movies too, it will seem better.
I am waiting for the September release of the continuation of George RR Martins story... the next book being "Dance with Dragons".
Have many fiction books of several genres, mostly fantasy and horror.

Of course I have my own book too.... and writing is another hobby. I mostly write simply for the pleasure of it, and have an idea or two for another book. Not poetry this time. I love collecting my royalty checks... but would like to them see them grow larger!

My horses are another thing that I "am into", and of course my dogs. Knitting is a pastime which occupies a lot of time too and I am near to completing a queen sized bedspread which I designed. In fact I hardly use bought patterns these days, prefering to design my own unique items, whether they be blankets or baby clothes.

But, the past few days I really have been into just standing outside in the warm sunshine and marvelling at the fact that I do not get wet! At last we have had some reasonable weather!!!
