I currently hold a Green card and I am due to fly to Washington for a job interview. Do I need to take my British passport with me, or will my Green Card be enough.

The Job is 4 mins away from my house but I have to fly to Washington from Texas for the interview LOL

I never took my green card or passport for internal flights - only when I am leaving the country. Just US drivers license is enough for internal travel.
I'd take the green card. You may have to prove Immigration Status on the job application nowadays, or at least supply the A#.

I think it's probably wise to carry the green card too. But don't bother with your passport. I only ever take it with me if I am going to be crossing any borders. Which is it's only purpose.
My answer is when dealing with bureaucrats of any assn or govt i always take MORE papers/ documents than is needed but only produce same if it is absolutly nessasary to beat them .
ONLY SHOW and SAY in answer to the questions they ask ,any extra information you supply them with only goes to confuse them further .

take your green card its small ,tuck it away in your wallet somewhere just incase ...
Thanks for the advice.

My Green Card I have had on me since I got it. Its always in my Wallet so no problem there
