Hi everyone,

This is a work in progress. There's somethings that I still have to do, such as attachments. I don't remember if I did the polls, maybe someone can check a thread that had a poll and let me know.

Post here if you have any problems, suggestions or whatever.

I will be adding more functionality as we go along, but the main thing was to get back up and running.

If you cannot login then email nigelreed@british-expats.com with your username and email address the account was registered under so I can verify your account.
DO NOT:

• Add a poll until I verify I converted them or it'll be lost
• Add an attachment until I have the others fixed
  

LIST OF KNOWN PROBLEMS:

• Attachments are not working. Any attachments after November 11th may eventually be lost.
• If you cannot login, clear your cookies. You may be able to delete the invidivual british-expats.com cookies. You can find documentation on this if you look around the web.
  

I don't know if it's a general settings issue or if he's going to have to fix it himself - but Londonsquare's signature is a bit large.......

It is, just a bit. Maybe it's something that happened in the conversion. I'll edit him and then let him know

See, you didn't know what you were missing while it was gone, now...sub up With a few more subs I can buy a backup system to ensure that we don't have any more lengthy downtime in case of hacks

Edited again to say that now I can't see the Subscribers area. I did pay up, honest!

personally i think you're good for subs EEB, but I will check it out when i'm less crazy-busy

There was a problem converting the subscribers. I will get you all added later. Monster, please tag on an extra two weeks for each subscriber to make up for the downtime.

Just a suggestion Nigel..........

there is nothing on this website, apart from the web address that sets it apart from any other forum.
We still need a huge union jack or banner or other such logo that is a little in your face whereas you have no doubt that this is a British website.

other than that, it is fine.
