Has anyone else been following this story? I remember seeing him on TV when we were in Holland in 99/00 and he seemed like a nice presenter for children's tv. It's such a sad story - he seems to have really suffered since the death of his fiancee.

I've seen bits and pieces of the story but not paid too much attention to it.

I remember watching him on TV as a teenager thinking that the guy had talent, his show format was pretty cool if I remember correctly.

He does seem to have been troubled since (and possibly before) the death of his fiancee, hopefully he's finally found peace.
The BBC now says that he was found hanged on a roof by Paddington Station. Such a sad ending.
Yes, I have been following it. All very sad. I generally have little time for druggies -esp celeb ones, but his death in particular seems so unnecessary and such a waste. Could be that he murdered his girlfriend and the guilt was too much, but I doubt it. I think he was heart-broken and feeling guilty for not being there/being able to to save her. We rarely hear about genuinely good celeb relationships, it's sad that we only do when they are torn apart like this.
I guess the combination of drugs, drink and your hot girlfriend dying in a bathtub will do that to you...
I would imagine, reading between the lines, that he didn't murder his girlfriend but felt incredibly guilty and heartbroken when she died - in addition to his career as a children's entertainer being finished, if only for the admitted drug use.

I can barely recollect the guy - he may have been on ITV about the time I came out here.

I'd rather hear about happy celebrity relationships too - maybe you don't because they want to be "boring" and simply disappear between movies? There are a few celebs that have ranches out my way and spend their "boring" family time on them - they only go down to LA when they have to. More power to them, I say.
