Great news though!

The British legal system is weighted heavily towards the offender, if the victim ever has the audacity to defend themselves, their families or the property.

And the handgun ban has been a huge success - so successful in fact that UK is about to pass more legislation to ban certain deactivated weapons - probably so that their owners don't poke someone's eye out or worse still - beat a burglar over the head with it!

I like it here better - kids gathering in groups at night are chased off by the local police and the last time a few kids tried home invasions/burglary, the owners in the next city shot and killed them. There is a certain amount of fear in the youth where I live and personally, I am all for it. I understand other areas and cities have much bigger problems but perhaps they have much different conditions like less hunters (therefore more private firearm ownership)?

UK was never perfect but the chav and other cultures of its ilk would never encourage me to return. I would certainly miss the right to defend myself and property.
