I've been fascinated by a lot of British movies. Some from the 70's, 80's, 90's and the latest. My passion for movies compels me to be what I want to be..... I'm an aspiring filmmaker, studying at the
International Academy of Film and Television in Asia. I'm ardently eager to make movies that will leave a mark on the people who watch them. I'll be happy to meet people who also have fondness in movies and filmmaking as well.
I just saw 'Death at a Funeral'. That was pretty good.... ;)
Lock Stock was good but Snatch was crap.
All Guy Richie/British films = http//www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9k-AXlMyME
Just watched Todd Haynes "Safe" this arvo. Dead good- weird, unsettling and, as usual with Haynes movies, theres a hundred diffrent interpretations of what it all means.
At the weekend we viewed Mike Leighs very funny Topsy Turvy which proved to be the best movie i've seen in ages.
I think the next one i really want to see is Cronenbergs take on London Villains or whatever its about - Eastern Promises.
Too much crap at the flix this side of the water so its down to digging up entertaining obscurities. Anyone else still using a VCR? Not everythings on DVD you know. roll

"Do you know what Nemesis means?"
Alfie, with Michael Cane. Best movies ever along with The Italian Job.
I always come away from Alfie feeling morbidly depressed. Get Carter has to be my fave MC movie though - even with all of the misquoting and the awful remake.
