personally we will leave sat morn about a (3/4 hour drive ) , and plan to spend the night at a local hotel driving back sun aft ......

Same with us although it will take us a bit longer but we will probably leave early early on the Saturday morning...we're coming on the bike so there had better not be any tropical storms around then.... Laughing

As of now as far as as I can tell there will be you and hubby ' monster and beast ,Nigel and wife ,Me & Melanie . 8 adults plus sprogs .

following on with the discussion about 10 year party it seems there will only be 4 families attending unless of course we can fire up interest in other members to make the trip to texas ( gods country hehehe ) ) and visit with us who have commited .

oringinally Nigel suggested ADDISON cus of its airport conveniance since no one presently commited to attend are coming by plane i see no need to have it there .

My question is from what direction are you going from .
im going from the south so a venue further south ould be easier for me . making Nigel travel i little further as ibelieve he lives north of dallas

I think a meet up in a shopping mall ( inside ) should be the order of the day about noon and take it from there for the rest of the days activities .

there are plenty of towns in that area with accessable malls lets pick on that gives those of us that come a distance the shortest travel time

We'll be coming from the North.

2000ish miles north, so we don't care that much, really. if anyone has cheap motel recommendations, that'll be cool. We plan to visit lots of your damnably hot stinking state seeing as we made the effort to drive all the wway there in August..... Very Happy
