Know of any deals or anything right now?

After waiting 8 yrs I finally get to go home (got GC last week! YAY!).. BUT, good golly, flights are threw the roof!!!

Cheapest I am finding is around $700 each and for 2 adults, one 13yr old, one 10yr old and a 12mth old that is nearly $3500! FECK!

Thanks in advance if anyone knows anything!

Oh, going from Houston to Manc or London.
WE went home last aug and had the same problem .
we looked up flights every day until one day we found a * special * avialable these are usually not on line more than 2 days so you have to be diligent in your searching.

flying on a wed is sometimes cheaper we changed our plans from flying on a thurs to flying on a wed and saved a few bucks .

the on line travel agencies ,orbitz etc are no cheaper than booking the airline direct at least that was the experiance i found to be true and they charge a booking fee .

seating is all important on a international flights so use this site to help in your selection .

in a nutshell just be patient and keep looking ..

When were you trying to leave? If it coincides with Spring Break then your screwed :P

BTW...congratulations on the Green Card

No dates set.. just whenever I can get cheap tickets!
Just cost me $400 to go to Chicago next month from Portland, OR.

Dread to think what England is going to be in August....
y'all need to get a Delta American express credit card. (use it & pay off)

I just got return trip to England (I'm here now/mum passed away) for $194. taxes and 50000 points.

I know it took awhile to build the points, but it's handy for emergencys.

I checked Delta through atlanta and it was going to cost me approx. $1100.

Good luck with searching for cheaper prices.
I find the best prices are directly on BA or Virgin's own sites. If you sign up for their frequent flyer clubs you can get access to better deals.

The problem right now is that the prices are reasonable, but the taxes, fees and surcharges are insane.

I'm looking at $800 to take me and a less than 15lb baby back in May. We'll only get one seat for all that, and I doubt the baby will eat or drink anything... wink

Good luck finding something.
