Well Damnit! I actually watched this one and had beest explain it to me so I think i almost "understand" it and it was almost exciting in the last quarter and yet no-one has started a thread about it where I can test out my new insight and pretend to be all knowledgable?

You bastards!

lol

So come on then -did anyone here have an emotional interest? Did anyone watch it? at all? Bueller?
I watched the Fulham Villa game in the morning and that was enough sports for me. American football is pretty boring, a lot of standing around and why are they always touching each others arses?
There wasn't much arse-touching that I saw, but half of them were wearing teatowels over their knackers....
They bang arses here when they think they done good - it's a bit weird but when in Rome I suppose. I did see a bit of arse banging yesterday.

I had a party round mine and it was great - people brought tons of food and we were having quite the feast. Almost a shame the game made us pause during the eating but otherwise, lots of fun and I will do something bigger next year I think. I've never watched a Super Bowl before but my TV got booked out as it's pretty big and everyone wanted to watch it in HD - I enjoyed the experience.

They used to bugger the house boy in Rome, I hope you not suggesting that?

Oh, I also noticed when I lived in Oregon that when people have parties they all bring their own food. Is it an Oregonian thing to do or is it just that hanging around a university town peple there are just too cheep/poor to put on a spread?

Usually people bring their own drink but I had plenty so they brought food instead.

Ok, I am living in England now....BUT, I am originally from (MY WHOLE LIFE TIL LAST MARCH) New ENGLAND. So, I am a HUGE Patriots fan and have spent the entire football season staying up til 3 am watching the games when SKY sports have aired them. I was convinced the Pats would win....I mean come on 18-0???? How could they lose to the Giants????? Lets just say that when the Giants scored with only 35+ seconds left in the game...I kind of whimpered...and shut off the telly and put radio 4 on so I could drown out hubby's snoring. cry cry cry
Arse slapping is allowed, but no cupping - so no grabbing a hold of like when you grab at the mrs.
