You get one rant per day. Just one, no subrants allowed  And no one is allowed to criticize or comment except for offering sympathy or a related rant of their own (which counts as their daily rant) Alles Klar?
monster's Saturday rant
(which really happened Friday but....)
We had snow. yay! Everyone cleared their drives as per usual -some get a contractor with a plow on the front of a truck to do it for them. Fine. This usually happens in the evenings (I guess they have a day job too). These contractors often push the snow onto the street instead of onto the grass verges and lawns. Not so fine (IMO), but it doesn't make a whole lot of difference to the heavy-duty city plows, so no biggie....
Yesterday, the city was suprisingly ahead of itself and the plows had done our street by 4pm -usually they come about midnight. Looks like they did the rest of the city early too. Awesome. Took the kids to their skating lessons. Clear streets all the way. The trek home was the most hazardous ever! Why? because the bloody snow-clearing contractors had been at work shoving huge piles of snow into the middle of the already cleared streets. Cars -which were noe travelling at the regular speed because the plows had dealt with the snow- were hitting or swerving to avoid these huge moguls, icy patches appeared without warning..... have these morons no brains? Is there really no law against this? how the hell did they make it through childhood with such mental blinkers?
ARRRRGGGGHHHHH
thanks, I feel better now.
you turn..... :)
