I was going to go to see Obama yesterday in New Hampshire but didn't because on Saturday cars were lining up down the road just to get to the carpark. Hillary's website attempts to show a photo of a queue of people lining up to get in to see her There are about 20 people in line. Apparently Obama's line was half a mile long - plus the cars!

It really is so that it doesn't read "Clinton" with all the memories that will stir up. I believe it was her decision and I think it's a good one. On the other hand, many people - including me and Whoopi Goldberg - have accidentally said "Osama" instead of "Obama".
John, it was a general comment not specifically about the t-shirts. Condi Rice was always Condi and not rice, Bush2 was always Bush and not George W.....

Totally agree. But for Hilary that was her campaign at the beginning wasn't it? A woman, a real woman, not a woman pretending to be a man. Instead of just a person who has the ability to run for president.
I think some of this has changed recently but it could explain why she prefers/went with Hilary rather than anything else.

US sexist? Perhaps overall but let's be honest - most men are sexist under general terms - you'd need to live in some fictional Amazonia or Lesbos otherwise, surely?
Personally, I try to treat everybody equally whatever their gender unless or until they demonstrate their inequality - then I'm honest about it and prefer logic to political correctness.
