Hi there

I have just relocated to Aberdeen in the UK from India and must say it is a really nice place.

I was nervous as had heard horror stories about relocation companies, however have to say my relocation went smoothly. I used a company called Relocation Relocation Ltd who are based in Aberdeenshire so that helped!

Has anyone had any bad experiences with relocation companies and if so what?

Also, is there anyone else who lives in Aberdeen on this forum??

I live in the USA, but I've been to Aberdeen / Perth and Peterhead quite a bit and always enjoyed my time up there. Glad you like it.
Grab a coat and get yourself to Pittodrie. I heard it is the coldest footy ground in the country.

When we moved from the UK to the US, our relocation company was really good. They helped us find a house, connect up our utilities, and contact the school system.

When we moved from the US to the UK, they were pretty rubbish. The main positive was that they arranged rental furniture in our house. Other than that they were pretty useless.
