I hope you watched a lot of TV in the UK.

I've just spent the last 3 hours putting together a montage of TV themes, 29 of them, into an mp3 file 1 minute long. That means about 2 seconds each. Most are taken from the first 5 seconds of the theme (there's a clue for you).

Would you like more than $30? Subscribe to Britnet ;) For every subscriber or re-subscriber from now through the end of the contest, I'll add $2 to the gift certificate amount.

How to Enter:
Just download the attached MP3 file. Listen to it carefully and note down the name of the TV show the tune comes from. When you think you have all the answers, or as many as you can get, send me a private message with your answer. They don't have to be in the right order. Once you have submitted your answers, you are allowed one update to give me any new songs, changes or whatever, then you're "locked in".

The contest will run from 3:00am Monday 8th October 2007 until 11:59pm Wednesday 31st October 2007 and is open to all registered users of Britnet who are in good standing (not banned) by the closing date. You may only participate if your state/country allows you to enter such contests. You know the rest of the small print, I'm sure.

There will be one prize of an Amazon.Com gift certificate valued at a minimum of $30 US. Britnet may decide to provide a certificate in a different currency for use at other Amazon sites upon request. There will be no cash prizes.

Good luck, get downloading, listening...and no cheating ;)

One final hint - they're all British TV shows...or should be!

The winner will be the person with the most correct answers. If there is a draw then one winner will be picked at random.

Regards
Nigel
Good grief, that's going to keep us busy! Good Quiz, dude.
Wish I'd seen this earlier in the day! It's going to take some thinking and some listening..
What years does it cover, I didn't recognise any.

Mostly 'cause we know so many, but also because I'm remebering and having to confess to beest which tv stars I fancied as a young teen. I made poor choices then. poooor choices
