Ours is dreadful. It dropped to the 70's today. I'm wearing flannel shirts and boots. What the hell is going on? Where's my Indian summer? Or did they outsource that too?

We're storm watching. Humberto popped out of nowhere today and is supposed to make landfall later tonight. Could be bad but could veer away from us.
We should have been in California this week..we were going on a roadtrip but M had problems at work so we put it off for a while. I suppose it's good that we are home just in case we are bailing the house out again -?

Down to 69F overnight then up in the 80's again by this afternoon. Have had some rain in the last few days which is nice though.
I am more worried about all the mosquitos. Judging by the position of the bites they are getting me through my clothes ! So I am having to wear thick cold weather clothes anyway !

Pleasant mornings, still a little hot mid day, but totally beautiful.
We have had really heavy rain showers during the night, but that's no problem, except our dobie refuses to leave our bed when it rains at night. It's hard to sleep with a dobie lying on your back.

Still. I went to Mexico yesterday evening and the weather was glorious....
