Hi
You have done a good question, it’s really interesting. If you get any good reply, so please let me know. So I’ll also get some good idea.
Thanks for your future help.
As they would say in th 'Boro: 'I think we have a live one here'.Rolling Eyes
I was born & raised in Northumberland, and came to America in 1966.
My home now is in Brimfield, Massachusetts.
Fortunately, I am able to return to my 'other' home the North East every year at Christmas, so I have pretty much kept up with what's going on in England.
However, I am always torn between my 'two' homes.
Last year something happened that made me realise it will never change..
I was home at Christmas watching the telly with my Mam, when a program from America came on and they started to play 'America the beautiful' and I immediately got a very large lump in my throat...and tears came to my eyes.
Not surprising, considering I have lived there for over 40 years.
However, the same thing will happen when I am home in America, and I hear 'God Save The Queen'...
I do the same thing, I get a large lump in my throat, and start to cry...
Oh...I just remembered, there's an hour long show on PBS tonight covering a year in the life of the Monarchy...better get the kleenex handy..lol !!

I guess there's no hope for me...!!!
