Hello, my name is June and I recently became a member of this board. Anyway, I live in scottsdale and I was just curious if anybody knows a few places where Brits hang around in arizona? I feel out of place since I moved here because no body seems to be from the UK around here.

there are plenty of us here in AZ.
I live in the north mtn/moon valley area of phoenix


there is an english pub on central just north of indian school - george and dragon
also a restaurant on scottsdale rd and mcDowell - papago plaza called the british open

it is quite amazing how many brits there are here - btw there is an english store on 77st and thomas

Hi june welcome to AZ there are quite a few of us Arizona and the best place to meet other Brits I would say is the British Open in Scottsdale. I live in Mesa not too far from you, so what brought you out to the desert???

I'm also in Az not far from Mesa just East of Queen Creek (3rd cactus on the left smile )I've only just seen this thread cos i've been a bit busy of late so haven't had much time to read the board. There's another member of the board who lives in Scottsdale called GillyD but she's across the pond for another 2 weeks, and as Shirl said ,she's moving here in August. Seems we are getting quite a little ex pat community going here in Az grin
