Seems like going away this year is out of the question

Pet trouble lol

We have one indoor cat, one in and out cat and one out cat. The indoor cat and in and out cat wouild not be a problem as we would just put them in a cat place. The out door cat we normally leave food out for, but the raccons etc cleanout his food every other day.

Cannot get any family to look after them of people next door. So guess will spend time at home and play on the computer lol
Our indoor cat had a horrible time at the vets and the boarding home. We decided shes better off if we leave her at home with clean litter and a bunch of food and water. She seems much happier whenever we go away - actually she couldn't care less when we get back )
WE have 2 indoor cats and a real sweet outdoor ( stray )that are part of our family .

Fortunatly for us the outdoor cat has other folks in the neighborhood that feed and comfort him even thou our garage is his favourate place to hang out .

The indoor pets have a cat sitter who comes regulary twice a day to feed them , interact with them, and supply them with a clean poop box ...

wouldnt have it any other way .
we miss them as much as they miss us .

Enjoy the vacation but feel something is not there when we don't t have a cat to cuddle on the pillow and the sound of a loud purr is missing .
when we come home they run and greet us and wont let us out of there sight for a few days making sure we dont go away and leave them again ... ....
A few weeks ago we had cats mooching around our garage and believe it or not a few weeks later we found five little kittens in there
The mother visits her kittens every day (with a big ginger tom or a big tabby tom the hussy!!) but has cut them off the milk taps!!
So weve been feeding them and giving them milk and water, and boy do they like the Whiskers cat milk!!!

They are some little darlings too!!

We (meaning my wife myself and my brother in-law) have got our own silly names for them:-
(from top to bottom)
Mr. Mittens (black and white)
Severus (black)
Mr. Bonkers (grey)
Smudge (black and white)
And Mr. Mooch (grey)

Above is my favourite my little mate Smudgy!!

On the other hand my wife's favourite is little Severus (above) who has a little white collar!! And yes Monster my wife has a crush on Alan Rickman

Above is Smudge and Mr. Mittens getting down to it!!

Little Smudge looks left out while the others are feeding!!

These kittens love the 'Acker Bilk' (milk!!)

After another exhausting session of playing the kittens get their heads down!!

Weve gone to our local vets and got some advice about looking after the kittens, theyre not tame and will run away if they suspect anything but theyre getting better, and were going to be keeping a couple of them and weve got some homes for the rest of them. It's just really a matter of when........

within the next few weeks at least theyve got have injections and worming and etc so were going to see about the 'family planning' then!!
I noticed today that Mr. mittens may very well be a Ms. Mittens :!:

The thing that concerns me is that if there isn't something done about the mother of these kittens there may very well be another bundle of little kittens in the garage!!

You live int he US, do what Americans would do, shoot it and then eat it.

But when theyre so cute?

I found one of our little kittens dead this morning :(

it's the grey cat (third one down) Mr. Bonkers (I think because the two grey cats look rather alike) He looked kind of slow and lathargic yesterday and it kind of caught me by suprise this morning. So Ive buried him and now there's only four. I havent seen the other grey one yet today so if and when I do I'll know for sure which one died. :|

Edited to make a correction:
It's actually the grey kitten at the bottom which died. The other grey kitten appeared this evening, which is a relief because I feared the worst for that one too
wife says how can you get attached to the stray black cat, told her he's a survivor. She asked what are we going to do when we move. Told her I guess we are gona have to catch him and piss him off for abit and make him a house cat.
