Have just watched the first ever episode of Have I got News for You and now I'm watching a recent episode. I see Angus Deayton has gone. Remember a rumour that he was outed as some sort of pervert.

From Wikipedia
"In May 2002 he was embarrassed by tabloid revelations of a relationship with a prostitute, Caroline Martin, and cocaine use after which his salary was reduced by the BBC. In October there were further reports of a long-standing affair, and he was asked to step down as the quizmaster of Have I Got News For You on 29 October 2002".

Chris Langham appears to be the pervert right now.

oh, and it seems to be pot-luck which of the links on that site work- try google video or you toob.

I just watched Have I Got News For You with Gordon Ramsay hosting. It's great to watch HIGNFY again I really miss that show. I never used to miss it on a Friday night!! I read about Angus Deayton and the 'showbiz sherbert'/call girl' scandal a while ago. I got to be honest I miss that dry sarcasm he used to have!!!
Now I realise that he got it from a baggy........ wink
Hope you submitted this link to the directory. )
Have a look for a show called Would I Lie to You? on You Tube. It's the same basic panel format as HIGNFY and Angus Deayton hosts it in the same manner. There are loads of these shows on here now - QI, 8 Out of 10 Cats, but the best of the bunch is Mock The Week - a far better show than HIGNFY these days with exactly the same premise but funnier guests.
Great link! I remember having to explain the Trap Door to my wife a few years ago, now she can see first hand. (Our back door in Georgia used to be equivalent to the trapdoor as all kinds of creepy crawlies seemed to enter the moment we opened the door...:D)

As an update to the O.P. - this site t.v. links etc.. has been shut down after the guy that runs it- from his home in Gloucestershire- was busted by the fuzz and nicked for somekind of copyright infringement. (
Most unfortunate.

That's why we have bittorrent ;)
Well good to know the UK police have apparently solved all the serious crime, captured all the really bad criminals and now have time to go after the easier targets. roll
