Sweet!
xenophobic twaddle.
Are you in favour of illegals Rob at the status q ????
This email reminds me of the other doing the rounds at the moment which is about Iraq and Jerusalem and America. It contains this line,

2. Mesopotamia, which is now Iraq, was the cradle of civilization!

Why the exclamation mark? Or are we back to the arrogance of America and the belief that Christ was a white man, after all, these other civilisations had no culture, no sense and didn't exsist before this country came into being.
I'm with Rob,

Sorry Rob and Annie, please defend your categorization as "xenophobic twaddle".

Is it not telling the truth about the path to legalisation?, about car insurance?, etc.?

I personally think that the path should be easier, but that's because I think, to some extent, the illegals are dupes of a conspiracy between the Administration and the Chamber of Commerce to obtain reduced labour costs for American businesses and reduce the power of the unions.

But I do not dispute the inherent unfairness of the path.

No it isn't.
Aside form anyhting else the bill wasn't passed.
Beyond that the letter is full or misrepresentations and misconceptions, deliberately skewed to attack illegal aliens for their timerity of being foreign as much as anything else.
That is based on an irrational fear/lothing of foreigners = xenophobia.

Another benefit in gaining illegal status

Again untrue. As a criminal defense lawyer I can tell you two things:
1. the vast majority of people who are caught without licenses and insurance are natural born Americans.
2. Being an alien, illegal or otherwise, in no way exempts you from needing both a valid license and insurance (where it is required by state law
).

I think that maybe the question should be if its against the law or not Rob S. Take out the things like personal feelings and just look at the law. Is it illegal or not, if yes the those that break it and those that help it happen need to be punished.

Mirgration is a natural thing, support 100% for the right reason, but because your government is a F up and your economy is useless, does not give anyone the right to gain from one country and then demand you change into the country you left. I think thats the problem really.

I P*sses me off that people get a free pass whilst I had all the pain and cost of doing it the correct way. People say what about that cost they cannot afford it. The INS will waive fees if you show you cannot afford to pay.

So really there is no need to sneak over the boarder
Lets send those illegal American deserters back to their country. I don't won't illegals in this country especially not cowards.
