They have at long last released Alan Johnston, some good news in a world of bad news.
Good stuff. I see some segments of the British media are asking questions about stringers also being members of Hamas. Let's just let good news be good news for a few days then start poking around shall we?
Good news from a bad news part of the world.
Its good news at a time of political and religious unrest .

Two things:
1. It was Hamas that forced his release.

2. I suspect that in Gaza, being a member of Hamas is a pre-requiste to getting access (much like being a member of the Communist Party in the USSR and eastern Europe pre-1989, was a pre-requisite to having a hald decent job and home).

Meantime, I need a new icon for my signature....

I'm sick to death of Alan bloody Johnston.

I take it the heatwave has arrived at your domicile and you're struggling with this odd weather. It's known as heat and sunshine. Drink water with the wine.
