Just got in from a almost 24 hour travel fiasco .

left seward in alaska to get to anchorage where the plane was destined to take of for houston *a 2&half hour journey abpout 5 to leave time to eat and stop for pee breaks sheduled time of departure was 10 30 pm fri alaska time for a red eye to houston 7/1/2 flight . technical delay plane adventually took to the air about 1.45 am sat morn alaska time every seat full and lots of tired and cranky kids >>well a few adults to i must admit-)

got to houston about 11.30 cental time and was reasigned a fliight to austin as the one we were booked on had long gone and came back .several times .
it was due to take of at 1 pm but alas a weather delay got in austin about 3pm picked up by family at 3.01 pm ,then traffic congestion on road ment we didnt get to our house until 4 pm central a 30 min drive.

loved the vacation but was glad to be back as we thought it would never happen ..

now i have to make a doctors appt mon morn .my knee is swollen up to the size of a melon .
tired ,drugged out and feeling rather scuffy and unwashed ...

reminds of the happy hippy 70 era .. ... mmm did i say that ??
welcome back, you need to go on a holiday lol

All we have had here in texas is rain, rain and did i tell you about the rain lol

heading to pensacola in August, depending on shhhhhh the H word lol
Well glad you made it back although it sounds like the journey from hell. Try a bath with loads of epsom salts. Very good for removing inflammation and swelling. Hope you feel better soon and can holiday at home. grin
