The pregnant lady is happy! The other day I walked into a new Indian and perused the menu. I nearly fell over when I saw they had my fave dish of all. I called my hubby and said we're having take out for dinner. I went to the restaurant to order and was asked if I wanted bread with my meal, I said I really fancied a peshwari (sp?) naan, he said it's not on the menu but we can make it. I was smitten and the food was fab.

Today we checked out an area a british lady I met had told me there was a chippie owned by a brit family, sure enough. The food was definately authentic, I'm just glad it's a good 20 min drive from my home as I'll be there all the time otherwise ;)

Never got into indian food , just came back from alaska and found a taste for the native food ,cant remember what is was called though .
Loads of Indian restaurants here and the food is good, just need a decent pub to get hammered in before I enjoy my Bombay Potatoes...

That's just the national cuisine of drunken students.

And half the contents are not actually consumed but discarded and or vomited along various routes to residence halls/student accommodation.

Mountain View, I'll find out the name of the pub, then you have a choice of loads of Indian eateries. You'll need a driver though.

Sounds like a grand excuse to stay a night in a hotel...preferably next door to said pub.

and if you want to make a time of it, here's the details of their festival, which i have attended in the past and was good, the seating was outside, the ambience was terrific, everyone was happy and there weren't too many rug rats being as it's the wine festival.
