Makes you wonder what these people hope to achieve. All it does is hardern resolve and plays to the extremists on both sides of the table.

Glad they found it and took care of it. Hope the loser and his pals get found soon and gets to spend a whole bunch of time at her majesty's pleasure. When they are about 80ish kick there sorry butts out the country.
If they have no country just drop them somewhere and let their extremist friends take care of them, rather than waste good NHS money on them
Having been woken early by the mockingbird and the cat I've watched a lot of this. They've found and disarmed two bombs, they think the perps are home grown amateurs, and the Brit. cops are pissed off with Fox because they are saying this is Al Qeida, when no evidence has been found to support this.
Myself, I'm disgusted with Fox. They couldn't get anything concrete so they made stuff up and then resorted to showing live footage off the 7.7. attacks, not making it clear that it wasn't a repeat attack.
Personally I think they should be shunned and sued. Or maybe forced to show 9.11 live, with the people leaping from the buildings, you know, the shots the rest of the world saw but the American public weren't educated? sophisticated? old enough? to watch and so had little idea of.

Edited to add, here's a link to Bloody friday, when 20 Irish bombs went off in London, car bombs included. According to Fox, stoic as the British people are they've never experienced car bombs and are panicked at the thought. Effing dillholes evil

hear what you say, very much broad brush reporting, real easy to do. When I first heard about it thought maybe Triad related as china town is right there. Would be a
new thing for them to use as normally they are muscle and hatchet people, but they can change with the times and new leadership.

Then heard a 2 car was found, so not them so yes I would say middle east extremism, even if home grown. All that gains here will be groups like the NF as people will move towards kick them all out groups.

The peaceful folks from the middle east etc will be the only ones to suffer in the long run. They need to get a hand on this far greater than the government.

Just a side note but tide in really the place shrine was bombed in iraq and people blamed the US. Ummm ok they may not like them there, but they did not planet the explosives, some nutter did, so why are they not upset with these groups and going after them.

Sad world we have really, just wonder what could be gained if we spent our money on social problems rather than guns etc.

Maybe they want the Americans and British to pull out of Iraq? Or, to stop supporting Israel’s persecution Palestinians, or supporting corrupt, barbarous and tyrannous governments around the world. Maybe they want the hypocrisy of American British foreign policy to stop.

I don't think violence is justified but as for extremists? I think invading another country with little to no justification, occupying their country and in the process killing over 500,000 of its citizens, jail and torture many more of them, and steal their natural resources, is extreme.

To be fair Sky News and the BBC immediately went for the Al Qaida route too calling them "sympathisers." Todays Guardian website has chosen the whole "Al Qaida-inspired" route too. BBC 24 showed the 7/7 attacks more times than I care to remember as well. And quite why they chose to show old footage of angry people in the Middle East is anyones guess.

Still, I'm amused at their constant banging on about how Londoners have been paniced all day. Really? Every shot they show is of thousands of people just going about their day.
I went with the muslim extremists as soon as I found out the club, Tiger Tiger was full, it was ladies night. Just another mysognist move on the part of the mullahs of doom.
Moo everyone wants to point fingers at US or British foriegn policy, Can you cannot tell me most other country has not done the samething or worse.

Yes it sucks at the moment but you think a pull out of Iraq will solve the problem. They done that now and within a year the same people asking for a pull out now will be saying why does the US and other nations try and help these poor sorry people.

Saw a whole bunch of folks saying get the taliban out, funny are they all now supporting to get them back in again ummm strange.

Funny how you don't see a lot of russian or chinese peace keepers putting their foot forward to help, yet they supply most of these weapons to begin with, ummmm.

Thought it was the US and Nato that helped Muslims in the Balkans. Maybe they should have just done nothing and let things just carry on.

Extremist people they are and all these low lifes do is create opposite extremists that will paint all people from a particular area or religion with the same brush and call for mass deportations, or do what they done to japanese people in the US during ww2.

People need to look at history and approach it with a balance view, not a political or religious slant.

I have people say things like you know that you can not buy coke in Middle east for this and that reason, you ask them how they know that and they just tell you they read it somewhere, when you do abit of checking you find the story is rubbish.
Alot of the Extremists sites are the very same, they spin a lie and people just take what is said as fact when its not. Thats how cults get there people as well.. Same mo

Sad sad really
bloody nousence we are going to england (hopefulyl in about 6 weeks it will just make it harder and the security more tight .
