Their midfield were contained, and what can you say about the Man Utd back four?
Vidic didnt look match fit, Heinze got burned 57 different ways, and Wes Brown and John O' Shea looked out of their depth. Gattuso followed Ronaldo all over the pitch and Giggs, Scholes and Rooney looked haphazard and didnt look in sync with each other. To be fair Man Utd did have a better second half and had some good possession for about ten minutes, but they couldnt capitalise on it.
Seedorf and Kaka's goals were pretty much the same, driven into the bottom right hand corner of the net from around the penalty box, they were opportunistic but finished off clinically all the same. Both goals were aided by sloppy defensive plays.
All in all Man Utd were washed away in the Milan rain wink
That's a pretty accurate summation. Ronaldo didn't help things by hanging onto the ball far longer than he should and then losing it....nothing unusual there then.
