Was just reading this story on the news ( http//news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/6528087.stm ) apparently, Clarksons gone an upset an entire country. They're not calling for his head on a stick or anything, but they sound pretty annoyed.

They tried to destroy a Toyota truck a couple of years ago and acheived the opposite effect that Steve Coogan did with his Gareth Cheeseman/Ford Probe/Suicide Dive sketch a few years back..
I really don't know what to make of him. On one hand, buying a new car in order to destroy it is fairly stupid and wasteful. On the other, its kind of funny and he seems to be playing up to whats expected. I never used to watch Top Gear, it was a bit dull. Like One man and his Dog, but with cars. Now, cos they do stupid stuff, it'll turn up on our tv schedule once in a while and I actually enjoy it.
