I heard something the other day which made me think how logical. Why aren't we buying the opium Afghanistan is producing and using it for medicine , rather than paying some drug company an arm and a leg for a synthetic which carries innumerable side effects.
My only knowledge of this is a form of penicillin which was totally synthetic and didn't work.
I figure the older you are the option to a true drug should be available. Not having grown up with industrial food my digestive system does not work well with it, why would it with drugs?

Now you point it out maybe it's the old Russian slogan. o
Perhaps if Afghan warlords started making political donations in the US the way pharmaceutical companies do...

a certain amount is sold legally to a number of companies. How do you think they do their research lol
