I heard something the other day which made me think how logical. Why aren't we buying the opium Afghanistan is producing and using it for medicine , rather than paying some drug company an arm and a leg for a synthetic which carries innumerable side effects.
My only knowledge of this is a form of penicillin which was totally synthetic and didn't work.
I figure the older you are the option to a true drug should be available. Not having grown up with industrial food my digestive system does not work well with it, why would it with drugs?
