LONDON, Feb 9 (Reuters) - Arsenal are in talks with American billionaire Stan Kroenke and could become the latest English Premier League club to forge ties across the Atlantic.

Manager Arsene Wenger dismissed the idea the proposed deal was a takeover .



If this becomes a trend will we see english football sold to the public the american way with advertizing and all the hoop la that goes with it ?

Yeah but lets see them move the Man U or Liverpool "franchise" to Boston or New York.

I'd hate to have to hear commentaters say things like "this substitution is bought to you by budwieser" and add thier own little "personal" plugs for products.
