dammit I meant to post on here the other day but moving boxes around got in the way of it. Just going to comment on the shopping culture over here, lack of things, easier finds etc.. I was kind of repulsed by the processed foods that substitute most everything in US supermarkets and, as a result I cook all the time and use fresh stuff. The only processed food we buy are baked beans (vegetarian) and stewed tomatoes, which are great for tomato sauces. Something about the bread here forced me into home baking (Currently perfecting bagettes improvising steaming in a conventional oven) and basically making from scratch anything that comes in a packet, tin or shrink-wrapped contrivance. I like chinese food, sushi and have to try out every funky shiny diner we come across but have yet to appreciate tex-mex cuisine, it leaves me in a state of bewilderment.
And why, in wisconsin, the DAIRY state- does whipped cream come out of a pressurized squirty can and not a cow?
Mrs Servalan is confused as to my weakness for Ramen noodles though, the epitome of junk-culture instant-grat sodium based arterial plaque inducing garbage.
Why do I like 'em? They taste good I guess. grin

Because it's considered cruelty to whip a cow before milking.

So it's ok to milk a cow after sex then?

John,
Thanks for posting that website. I'm in Arkansas and you can't find any British stuff here. I've already placed an order.
Thanks again!!
