Ok I think end of summer for us as none of our vacation times match up apart from then.
That's not to say I wouldn't come alone or with who-ever is available at the time.
I am all for just invading a restaurant and/or a place of entertainment with who ever shows up.

We would probably have to do 5-7 days to see a few peole and sights whilst we're there.

Would people want to go out to a restaurant and eat or have something catered? We could always have Indian or some other food catered in and get a couple of kegs of beer...or we can just go out. Most places around here are BYOB (bring your own bottle). Just looking at all the options right now.

Restaurant. Easy to cater to all needs, venue is provided. Not Indian, though.

As far as booking hotels.

1) Would you like me to get a block price on somewhere cheap?
2) Would you like me to get a block price on someone more convenient?
3) Would you like to make your own arrangements?

Own arrangements probably easier tbh.

Restaurant is fine with us, Chinese buffet or similar would be good.

I'd really love to join in this, but we have university/UK/Visitors bogging us down this year, but may well leave it to a surprise weekend visit.

Although I've been lurking, I've just spotted this thread. I'd be up for coming (if it's still on?), barring something unforeseen happening of course. Would make my own arrangements re accommodation.
