eek. Not so much the visual effect, but the thought of the mind behind it.....

I should show this to my former residents association board who get their knickers in a twist over breeze blocks visible from the road.
Ah yes, we have a memorial to the fallen in Iraq just inside Marin county in a field at the side of the main thoroughfare, it had crosses, representing the dead, and a sign that was TOO big, and numbers, adjusted daily, that were deemed TOO big. Some dill hole painted over the sign, an act of vandalism, and the council are still debating whether or not it should all be taken down.

What are they worried about anyway, do they think that low flying planes will read this stuff. wink
Over on the East side shock we are on the other side of the tracks
She was on the TV and seems a little weird. I'm amazed they let this go this far as the city also get their knickers in a twist over leaving your 'green waste' bin out in site
Local residents assn /and councils have Rules that are for the benefit of everyone "as a whole " its called living in a cummunity .

the idea is to not trash the neighbourhood and you as a owner benefit from a neat well kept subdivision when you go to sell your home .

trash cans need to be bought inside fence or building . cars on the road need to be taxed and registered .

you can and should read all the local ordinaces, homeowners assn rules .etc before you buy she must have known what they were .
she is NOT decorating her home she is a religious nut preaching to the public .... if you want to have you home look ike trash with old cars, signs , scribbling on walls , chickens etc go live in the country areas were the rules are much more relaxed ...

Problem comes when the longstanding residents who have been on the board/committee forever don't apply the rules evenly or fairly.

Home "decorations" are always a subjective thing.
