Not terribly sure how I feel about it right now, so I thought telling you might help me find out. Here she is 9 years ago holding baby Hebe. She was 97 and not really enjoying life in the old folks' home. She was pretty confused about who everyone was and often rambled off on flights of pure fiction. I only visited one time since she went into the home, and she was actually in hospital then, too. She had a chest infection that wouldn't respond, and got dehydrated. My sister visited about an hour before she died -she had actally perked up and was laughing occasionally with lots of visitors. Then she suddenly worsened and died peacefully with my dad and aunt there.

OK, I am crying now.
I'm so sorry monster.

So sorry to read your news. You will miss her. Even though you haven't seen her in a while it'll be sad knowing that she isn't there any more. It's good to know that she had family with her and that she was able to laugh a little with them.
Very sorry to hear that Monster.
