His contract with real madrid has not as yet been renewed .
do you think a UK team should sign him and take him back to the fold or is he a *has been* ???
personally i have always thought as a complete player he was overated .

I too think he was always little over-rated. Still a great player and one of the tops but the sun really didn't shine out of his behind like many always claimed.
I think it would be good to see him in the USA although I think he may end up and one of the smaller Premiership clubs....perhaps Charlton or Fulham.
I think they would like to live in London.
Over the hill as he is, I think he'll stay im Madrid until the summer then go to the US.
It would be a sad state of affiars if he goes to the US, he is still a capable midfielder who can most teams better, he is far from done, lookat Teddy Sheringham...He should move to Hull just to piss off his wife...
Agreed, it'll be a shame if he goes to the US, but I think his celebrity is now more important than his football.

It'll do wonders for the game in the US though. Beckham is one of the few footballers that people have actually heard of here.

I think it'd be great if he comes to the USA. Because of his celebrity, it might encourage more people to pay attention to football here.
I think that Beckham was a very good club player for Man Utd and was a big piece of Man Utd team that won the Prem titles and Champion's League, and to be fair he scored a few important goals for England, but I think that his celebrity became bigger than his game and his game hasnt measured up to all that fame and glory for a while now. I think that Fergie thought this was an issue (and also with the infamous dressing room bust up) and Beckham was transferred and has never really captured the consistancy which he had a few seasons ago. He lost the captaincy and is now at a serious crossroads in his career.

I think that Beckham may very well be finished at Madrid, and Beckham can either return to England and play for a smaller Premiership team or he can go to another team possibly in the states where he'll be a big star in the league but maybe a side show attraction/whipping boy in the NFL driven sports media. If Beckham thinks his England career is over then he goes to the states but if he thinks that he's got a chance of England selection then he tries to have a crack at the Premiership again.
Maclaren on the other hand may have different ideas........... ???
I missed the slot on the local news that said maybe he's off to LA.

Yeah, he is off to LA Galaxy, the initial contract is for 5 years and the $$$$!!! He is certainly one lucky fellow... I wonder if he'll endorse or open a football school for young kids? Forget about Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan. The Beckham's are here to storm L.A., can't wait for the media frenzy.
Posh will be in her element
You reckon we can persuade him to sign up for this website?

Shit man you on self destruct mode

They don't need Britnet -if they miss anything they can have it flown out. Immigration questions will all be taken care of. That leaves intelligent conversation and British sense of humour.

Say What?
