We saw it yesterday - pretty good movie, but I left extremely puzzled and bewildered at the sudden ending. The action sequences are excellent - the street gun battle makes you feel like you are actually there with the camerawork.

Not to give the plot away, but they never really explained what happened to the world, why the world went through the 'problem' it had, and why that girl in particular was able to 'get past the problem'?
I've been reading about his for a few weeks, and now it's getting a high rating and reviews at IMDB, I might even get off my butt and go to the cinema to see it, sounds like it might have more impact than at home.

The action scenes are excellent. I read that the street gun battle that I mentioned previously (which must be at least 10 minutes long) was shot entirely in one take.

The book is really good... read it years ago.
