ok, what did everyone get?? List one present that you really liked and surprised you.
My missus got me a Replica 1966 England World Cup football shirt. I was absolutely chuffed, she had to get it out of a world cup soccer shop in Brazil in the end. I was impressed.
The only real surprise I got was a pair of large peridot stone earring studs, (my birthstone) frommy sweetie.
The neatest thing I got was a $4 fold up mini tool with 2 screwdrivers, pliers and wire cutter.
I got a really spiffy star atlas, a night scope and a big box of Cordoba cigars.

The surprise was a panoramic framed picture of London at dusk.
The best gift was a wireless printer/scanner/copier which will be a vast improvement on the 11-year old printer we are currently using!
A video copy of Private Lives. Unfortunately not the one with Noel Coward in, cos that's still unavailable due to the American studios having a stick up their butt, but it was Norma Shearer and Robert montgomery, I think, but it was wonderful, so soon after silent movies, so much hand wringing and mugging.
The Noel Coward version will be perfect.
Other than that I got everything I asked for plus some weird dragons and books called Eragon, anyone know anything about this, it's a new fad I've missed obviously.
Eragon seems to be an new fillum/video game about Dragons with Jeremy "Bleedin'" Irons in it. As far as I can tell..
Oh and a white rubber duckie with an LED battery which once it hits water activates and goes through all the colours in the spectrum, fabulous for nightime bathing and swimming lol
Annie - From what I heard the Eragon books are meant to be good. I think they are pre teen books though.

Annie - hope you are enjoying your book. Our granddaughter has read them. She is really into dragons!
She just saw the movie that was released just before Christmas, and was very dissappointed in it, said it didn't follow the books.
