Does anybody else get this excellent magazine or is it only available on the East Coast.

Unlike other cooking magazines it doesn't just print an endless procession of recipies but instead picks a dish and then conducts a series of alomost scientific experiments to try and find the optimal way of cooking it. The resulting recipies are often surprising but can be spectacular. I have never made a bad meal from any of their suggestions.

Thought that I would mention it now because this months edition features reviews of English cookbooks including Nigella Lawson's and Dehlia Smith's.
I don't recall seeing this mag but will be on the lookout for it next trip to the supermarket.

I got it last year - I always liked their reader letters section and their reviews of gadgets.
It's the edumucated version of cookin light in my hubbies view
I love their layout on different topics.
Worthwhile reading! wink
I love that magazine, hadn't seen it in a few years, so glad to know it's still around. The same publishing company also produces a crafts magazine with a similiar format, in fact, I think it's called "Crafts Illustrated".
