World Cup Soccer Fans Peeps!!!

Bearing in mind the time differences and schedules people have, there's nothing worse than wanting to see a game and stumbling over the results before you've seen the game.

Same thing happens with all time difference sports, such as F1 and so on.

Here's a thought.

Try to be creative with your subject line, thereby giving a clue as to what is inside, and then add the words - "SPOILER!!!"

For example, a typical WC subject line would read.

Scotland vs Korea final scores - SPOILER!!!

This way, anyone coming here first would be alerted to the fact that the post may contain a score that they didn't want to see or were trying to avoid seeing prior to watching the game on tv..

Does that make sense?

Andrew

Good point Andrew.

However, that France v. Senegal result is absolutely EVERYWHERE on the web. People can't contain themselves! lol
Iiiiiiii dunno Diane,

When it's F1 (before it was shown live) Emily and I could avoid any results for upto two days once..

It was hard, but it is do-able... smile

The result was? lol

Andrew

Believe me, there is nothing typical about a world cup game involving Scotland. In fact I think it's a bit of a rarity these days.

I have no idea who's playing who, the only things I have any interest in sporting wise are F1, Tour de France (all the cycling Grand Tours) and motorcycle racing (Go Ruben Xaus) SBK and MotoGp.

Soccer make me sleepy....

Its the general rule with the brit and american games but as was said it was all over the radio and the net in aboout 2 mins flat .. good and fair point thou buddy smile smile
Maczippy makes an absolutely essential point about giving out scores. If you want to avoid the score you can, I've been doing it for all the Champions League games, which we tape and then watch in the evening.
There is no way i can stay up for all the live games and thus will have to watch on delay.
