In an unrelated incident, I joked with beest earlier about when we'll have been together for 17 years .....then we worked out that will be next September..... I still feel 17, never mind having been "settled down" for that long!

Well Prince Andrew is exactly the same age as me and Edward actually younger than me - so I've already witnessed this sort of gradual decreptitude with a similar feeling of anxiety.
Just yesterday I was looking up Stephen Stills - hippie west coast singer/songwriter I used to like a lot. He seems of course eternally about 30 years old in my head and in fact he's he's 62! Sigh!
