For all those that can, will you stay up/get up early to see?

I think we are supposed to have clear skies this weekend and I know the kids will enjoy watching. Wouldn't surprise me if Katy has it as part of her homework because she is doing Earth Science this year.
We do this every year. A couple of hot toddies, loads of wooly things and a lounger. You have to make a wish every time you see a shooting star, but like birthday wishes, you can't tell what it is. It's kind of a wish fest. We get a pretty clear view here, maybe because of the hills.
I'm taking my telescope up Mount Charleston to go take a look.

/loves himself some stargazing
//it's a cheap telescope but it's better than the one Galileo had
Dude, take a bottle, something warm and whatever else you may need, the shower does not need a telescope.
No... but I like to look at the Moon and other heavenly body type stuff.

Mercury and Saturn are currently visible.
