Greetings y'all.
Thought I should (fomally) introduce myself.
Tony, born and bred in Fulham (Lillie Road), ended up in Fort Wayne Indiana via Dorset and Oklahoma over a 40 year period.
I am a committed life-long Fulham FC fan, and quite happy to chat real football with anyone, but don't mention that 'other' football game they play over here, to me it's just Rugby for pansies (there, I've said it - no further discussion needed, you won't change my mind)
Been here 8 years now, love the place, the people, the culture, food etc, but still believe the UK offers more in some facets of living (cheddar cheese, for one, Walkers crisps, for a second).
Married to a lovely American lady (from Boston) with step children, and have 4 of my own (2 grown up - two nearly there) back in the UK with my first wife and their step dad. I am a programmer for a large multi-national truck manufacturer, and totally enjoy it (nerdish or not).
Interested in meeting other Brits in the local area (Indiana / Ohio / Michigan / Illinois areas) and keeping in contact with others further afield as we do tend to go on road trips each year around the country.
I know a couple of Brits in the NE Indiana area, and we have looked at forming a local Brit group, just to meet up, support, fun (nope, not interested in the 'adult' type) so any other interested members or anyone can give us advice, I would welcome them to contact me.
Well, hopefully I haven't been too contentious or rude in this intiail post, and look forward from chatting to all.
Best wishes,
