I think you're on your own, unless you can grab some firecrackers (from a Chinese supermarket), knock up a quick effigy and set fire to it, you'll most likely end up either getting arrested or certainly confusing the locals.
The other alternative is buy a gun and shoot it into the air (although that might get you into trouble as well...)

They hold this huge event every year, but this late in the season they will be sold out.
I used to go to this every year, and even took some fellow Britnetters with me.
Maybe you should book now for next year, it is a ton of fun :)
