... and Mummy thought wouldn't it be great to hold his first ever birthday party. Actually on the invites I called it a relaxed, playdate, costumes if you like but not essential (Oct 28th Halloween party).

So I invite a handful of friends with children about the same age, I extended the invite to all siblings if they had them, (they will entertain my 7 year old). Now that we are back in game system mode (hubbys job) the older kids can do that upstairs.

I think I am being clever by not leaving anyone out that I know thinking they won't all make it for 2 hours on a Sat afternoon. Oh boy was I wrong!! They can all come, Mums, Dads babies, big siblings.... arrgghhh!! I live in a 3 bedroom town house and I have about 30 people coming to my house.

I will not make the same mistake EVER again.... insanity is slowly setting in as I try and plan how this is all going to work.

shock
Hope it goes well for you and not too hectic. It's unusual for everyone to show up and maybe some will not actually make it on the day, even though they said they would. I find that happens a bit and I do that too sometimes. oops

What game systems does hubby work on? I know a British guy working for a company in California that made the Tony Hawk games and "Gun" on the Xbox.
Oh I hope you are right ) I love all my friends and their kids dearly but all at once in such an enclosed area ...hmmmm it'll be cozy anyway )

Hubby works for a company called Vicious Cycle Software Inc here in NC. He worked for them previously as a programmer, now he has gone back to them in a managerial position. In the past he also worked for Microprose. Past games would be Civilization and X-Com. Newer games for VCS would have been Robotech, Spy vs Spy, Dinotopia, Flushed Away is their latest release for the new dreamworks kids movie. They work on the PS2, Xbox etc.
Happy birthday to the young man.
Good luck with the party.
I bet it'll be great grin

But you're inviting all of us too, right wink Just several hundred Britnet friends......
