I am a Brit and filing for citzenship. I have just had my fingerprints taken, and was wondering if anyone has been through this experience at the Msp office, and how long was it until the interview, and what sort of questions they ask, other than the history ones. Any help would be great....Thanks
Hey,
I can't help you personally but we have our own MSP group out here at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mplsbrits/
If you check the previous messages there may be some useful info, or just post one youself. I'm pretty sure someone on there can help you.
Michelle
All my initial paperwork and permanent residence stuff was through the MSP office but then we moved so I had my interview here in Springfield.
egfisher,

I had earlier posted to someone asking a similar question...
When I applied to become a US Citizen in Houston Texas in 2006, I was told the whole process would take about three years, due to an over-load of the system.
Apparently, thousands of Mexican residents apply each year in Houston..
So...not wanting to wait that long..I checked the Internet, and found that each State is different.
My plans at that time were to eventually move to a New England state, as I couldn't stand the heat & humidity in Houston..
Well...I found out that if I applied in Boston, Massachusetts, it would take only 6-8 months from start to finish.
Well.. to cut a long story short...I made the move to New England in January of 2008.
I filed the paperwork in Boston in late March of 2008, fingerprinted in June, Government/History test in September, and received a letter recently to report to Springfield on November 25th for the Oath Ceremony..

I'll be relieved to have it over with...
